Delights and 7 Dangers of PRACTICE GRATITUDE – Rose Rosetree

Delights and Dangers of PRACTICE GRATITUDE

Safe Self-Healing. Buckle up your seat belt. Because I’m going to take you on a fast-paced consumer’s ride through a very popular “healing” technique called PRACTICE GRATITUDE.

Some Folks PRACTICE GRATITUDE for Emotional Healing

To be clear, emotional healing is not my area of expertise. Energy Spirituality® includes four specialties, one of which is emotional growth. Growth, not healing. Still, one benefit for you, from reading today’s article is this:

We’ll explore a very practical question: Do the delights of PRACTICE GRATITUDE include authentic emotional growth?

Now let’s launch the interactive nature of today’s learning opportunity. Most definitely, you’re invited to share your thoughts at any time. Whenever an idea pops into your head or heart, pause in your reading. COMMENT to share your wisdom and curiosity.

Afterward this same article will be waiting for you. And you’ll have enriched the reading experience for us all.

Some Folks PRACTICE GRATITUDE for Energy Healing

In this article we’ll be looking for truth, rather than “feel-good.”

Nobody ever died from energetic self-healing, far as I know. But many people sure have messed up their auras.

Especially unfortunate because that mess-up never needed to happen! One protection for you that underlies our article is today’s energetic literacy — good skills for researching a person down to the level of chakra databanks. This can protect you from certain “self-healing” approaches that seem impeccable, yet they can be like “the cure worse than the disease.”

Are There Potential Dangers from Practice Gratitude?

Sadly, yes. Let’s assume that you’re a self-actualizing person, somebody who aims to use your full potential in life. (For this, it’s not too much to seek Spiritual Enlightenment.)

A little understanding can easily help you to avoid the limitations, and even dangers of PRACTICE GRATITUDE. Before we go further, though . . . .

What Is My Standing to Help You Here?

Standing matters, when any writer presumes to advise you on something as important as self-healing or personal development. Quickly summarizing my relevant background, it includes:

1. Facilitating Professional Sessions of Energy Healing

That’s my job as the founder of Energy Spirituality®, with its 11 trademarked systems.

2. Energy Healing, I Set and Broke Records for Japan’s Leading Seminar Company

Working for VOICE, in Tokyo, yes. Twice I broke records as their most popular energy healer in the 28-year history of a company that imported two Western energy healers each week, 50 weeks a year.

3. Most Relevant for this Article. I’m a “Consciousness Engineer.

We consciousness engineers investigate the mechanics of techniques that involve consciousness. We bring discernment, praising what works and calling out what doesn’t.

4. Working as an Enlightenment Coach, I Help Students to Use Their Full Potential

Would you be surprised to know that articles like this one, and everything else at this Energy Spirituality Website, can help you to move forward on your personal path to Spiritual Enlightenment? [helped by res] I’ve validated Enlightenment for others. Maybe some day I’ll be able to validate it for you.

Now let’s get into specifics.

Delights and Dangers of Practice Gratitude #1.

The Appeal of PRACTICE GRATITUDE

It’s true. You can choose to be happy, generally. Rather than glum and grousing and grumpy. Practice Gratitude is one way to actively choose happiness. Scientific research documents correlations between a positive attitude and some luscious personal benefits. According to the National Heart Association, gratitude can improve:

  1. Your sleep
  2. Your mood
  3. Your immunity
  4. And decrease anxiety, chronic pain, and disease.
  5. Gratitude may even help you to live longer.

What Does It Mean to PRACTICE GRATITUDE?

Spontaneously feeling grateful is fine.

This doesn’t necessarily produce healing. It won’t attach magnets to your aura in order to “attract” whatever you wish.

I’d also be skeptical of claims that gratitude work will “heal your energies.”

Did you know this, though?

You Purposely PRACTICE GRATITUDE When You Actively Do a Technique

This article is about that version of PRACTICE GRATITUDE. Whether you made up that technique. Or you’ve learned from an expert and take it seriously.

Another possibility is that use a technique you learned it for FREE. Only it came from somebody with no standing to teach you techniques. Unfortunately, many creators of free techniques are living in the consciousness lifestyle of Extreme Spiritual Addiction.

What’s that like? This YouTube video can give you an idea. Aforementioned Donald Trump  is only the most extreme example I’ve found so far, living with this consciousness lifestyle. Plenty more influencers are living that way.

Any time that you receive instruction or an attunement or an official initiation, whatever! It matters if your teacher is living in a consciousness lifestyle that amounts to taking orders from discarnate spirits.

Also Important to Know

Even with an impeccable Gratitude Practice, there will be an impact on on your spiritual consciousness. Technically, this time will count as part of your 20 Daily Minutes of Spiritual Technique Time.

Whether the practice you’re doing is effective or not. Potentially a technique you choose is, actually, not good for you at all. (Later in this article we’ll get to the topic of dangers.)

How, Exactly, to Do a Technique for Gratitude

What you’re taught to do may be quite vague. You may even be encouraged to  make something up. Maybe you assume that it’s enough to ask Jesus or Archangel Michael to help you. Then they will protect you (supposedly) and help you to get great results.

If you’re curious about my opinion of that, as a Consciousness Engineer, just ask.

Specifically, when you Practice Gratitude, you might do a technique like the following. (Adapted from one of the many experts who teach this sort of thing.)

Delights and Dangers of Practice Gratitude #4.

A Way to Practice Gratitude

To be clear, I don’t recommend this technique. Still, it’s an example of what’s out there.

#1. Do a Gratitude Technique on purpose.

Whether for a few minutes, or half an hour. Or off-and-on all your waking hours.

#2. Push your thoughts toward recognizing specific things that are supposed to be spiritual.

For example:

  • I have 10 fingers. Praise Jesus.
  • Each of my fingertips has a personal pattern that can make a fingerprint. Praise Jesus.
  • I can move my fingers on purpose. Praise Jesus.

#3. Lavish on extra appreciation

This amounts to pouring a ton of whipped cream and 29 cherries on top of your ice cream sundae.

#4. Maybe say special words aloud to “affirm” that you’re really-truly grateful.

Such as:

  • God is pouring good energy into me.
  • Every time I feel grateful I send healing energy into my body.

#5. Believe that you are aligning your ordinary thoughts with “positive energy.”

Many healing practices rely on Mood-Making to bring about miraculous results.

#6. Believe that you have just done something important to heal yourself.

Hey, we humans are free to believe whatever we like. Doesn’t that automatically make the belief true? Of course not. Nor is that practice necessarily the least bit effective for energy healing or any other aspect of personal growth.

Delights and Dangers of Practice Gratitude #5

Yes, There Are Dangers

Granted, plenty of people don’t know or care about the cautions I’m about to give you. The fact that you’re still reading is great!

Just to give you a sense of the odds against wanting to learn more than the happy talk: How many hits did I get today, when googling Practicing Gratitude?

26.6 MILLION hits. That matters because, in my view, we’re subconsciously influenced by ideas with even 1 THOUSAND hits.

And why wouldn’t Practicing Gratitude be that popular? The appeal is obvious. Supposedly you can heal yourself emotionally. And heal yourself spiritually. Even live as a self-actualized person. Due to the power of your gratitude.

Sadly, this Consciousness Engineer says “Not so.”

However, ask me if you like. I can give you specifics why none of these three benefits will come from the 6-step technique I just summarized for you.

Admittedly, gratitude practices are easy to learn. They seem appealing. Many couldn’t be more simplistic.

  • Yes, simplistic!
  • They say “Sex sells.” Sorry, but so does “Dumbed down.”

People who suffer are suffering! Understandably, many will grasp at straws, like “Being more positive could help a lot.” And “Heck, It can’t hurt.”

Delights and Dangers of Practice Gratitude #6

7 Possible Dangers of Practicing Gratitude

Of course, these dangers depend on you. Possible dangers also depend on whichever technique you are using. Still, it could be worth your time to consider all seven of these potential problems.

Danger 1: Mood-Making

Thanks are due to my former, late, ex-guru, His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He taught me many important things. One surprisingly useful one was when he would say “Mood-Making” in a tone of extreme disdain.

To this day, feelgood practices and happy talk are as common as dandelions in the summer. All too often, Mood-Making becomes a substitute for something of substance, something of value.

If you seek wisdom, learn to flag Mood-Making. Avoid doing it to yourself.

Danger 2: Insincerity. Phoning in . . . Virtue Talk

If you have a good ear for voices, you can readily recognize insincerity. For me, all I have to  do is imagine an uninspired person at a house of worship who drones sanctimoniously, “Let us pray.”

Of course, religion isn’t the only context where folks piously say things they don’t quite mean.

I call this “Virtue Talk.” May I gently warn you? Practicing Gratitude can make aspirational happiness a routine way of half-lying. To your fellow sufferers, this may seem sweet. To others, however, it’s a mildly obnoxious affectation — one that wins you no points from the person who recognizes it.

Danger 3: Staying Stuck — Though You Believe You’re Growing

How I long for a time in this world when energetic literacy is as common as word literacy. Only I don’t recommend that you wait around for this to be mandatory and taught in school.

Now that we’re living in the Age of Awakening, just about everybody has Stage 1 Energetic Literacy. Vibing people out: That’s kinda sweet, but seriously inaccurate. With this beginner’s energetic literacy, it’s easy to imagine you’re growing fast. Even if you’re stuck-stuck-stuck.

Slightly better, some energy healers and psychics can do chakra readings. Technically, that’s Stage 2 Energetic Literacy. Nothing to brag about, now that the Age of Faith is over for keeps!

Back then, chakra readings were an achievement. Now, they’re woefully limited . . . and limiting. For instance, it’s easy to assess a person as supposedly growing fast, despite being — you guessed it — stuck-stuck-stuck.

In this Age of Awakening, you can conveniently learn how to develop Stage 3 Energetic Literacy. Sure you can. Don’t let any Age of Faithers give you the old line about how you’ll need extreme clarvoyance. Not so. You’ll do fine with your personal gift set for this lifetime. The one God gave you.

To learn, find somebody with the standing to teach you how to research chakra databanks. Just don’t expect this learning to be simplistic. More like how you learned word literacy back in the day. Avoid teachers who promise that you can learn to read auras in five minutes.

Good quality energetic literacy starts here with the skill to read chakra databanks. Both in person and from regular photos.

When you wish to read how anybody’s aura is doing — in detail — simply take a few minutes to use your skills and do some research. Currently, I’m doing a daily aura reading at my blog contest, using Wise Money Management Chakra Databanks. Pretty fascinating!

Danger 4: Making Excuses for Other People. And Yourself.

According to today’s positivity propaganda, it may seem healthy to look the other way, or uplifting to tell yourself sweet little white lies. But if you keep on choosing sweet and positive over objective reality, sooner or later, the bill comes due.

Life will give you a wakeup experience. Don’t expect that to be pleasant.

Danger 5: Enabling and Encouraging People Who Treat You Badly

Would you like to be called “a person who wouldn’t hurt a fly”? Other people do watch how you treat them. What if you treat them to perpetual sunshine and smiles, no matter what?

Many of the people you meet will lose respect for you. They’re not talent scouting for saints, you know. These are fellow human beings, and some of them are assessing how much they can get away with doing to you. Or taking from you.

Danger 6: You May Attract Opportunistic Astral Entities into Your Aura

I wish I didn’t have to mention this possibility. But here’s one of the differences between living in the Age of Faith versus living now, in this new — and mostly magnificent — Age of Awakening.

For some technical reasons (such as the removal of the Psychic Barrier) after the Shift, humanity is now experiencing some problems from opportunistic astral entities. I definitely use effective skills to help my Energy Spirituality clients steer clear from this. And I also teach some powerful skills for energetic self-healing in the how-to book The New Strong.

Suffice it to say that, sometimes entity problems happen. For instance, suppose that Sam sits down to do a poorly designed technique to Practice Gratitude. He spends 10 minutes with eyes closed, thinking he’s doing himself some good. Yet Sam’s ineffectual technique does nothing significant to help him, either emotionally or spiritually or with the magical healing of all his ills.

Technically, the main thing Sam has done has been to position his consciousness at a LOW Astral Vibrational Frequency. This has made him attractive to discarnate spirits at that particular frequency. Quite possibly, Sam leaves this self-improvement time with 14 excited new entities stuck to his aura.

Danger 7: Wasting Time That You Could Spend on Effective Techniques

Are you like me in this regard? Do you have just 24 hours each day?

Then imagine this. Unlike the uber-rich, who can pay people to wait in line for them, we cannot delegate everyday chores so easily. Besides, 20 Daily Minutes of Spiritual Technique Time is the practical limit for all self-actualizing people. (And also for those of us who live in Age of Awakening Enlightenment.)

Every useless, feelgood technique? The time still counts.

In Conclusion

If you’ve learned even one thing from today’s writing, wasn’t that a good use of today’s 24/7?

Thanks for reading, everyone.
